offset -reduce minimise CO2 emissions, carbon foot prints, by flights, safaris, holidays to Uganda Kenya Africa, we have a CO2 conservation policy to offset Aviation carbon foot prints , environmental protection to reduce global warming by tourism
"Flying is a little bit hard on the planet and the continent of Africa, but planting a tree is an ecologically positive thing to kind of make amends for some of the damage that you may be causing," said Hartwell.
From our inception in 2002 we at Real Africa Adventures have had an inherent commitment to conservation and environmental protection and offsetting or minimising CO2 footprints, Aviation Carbon emissions and global warming in Uganda ,Kenya and other parts of East Africa where we work.
Our staff in East Africa share this commitment to conservation and adopt an equally responsible attitude to tourism in Uganda, Kenya and other places where we operate.
At Real Africa Adventures we believe that respectful tourism is a key factor in helping to sustain the environment and in some cases, even repair it.
Our own small effort to encourage greater awareness and participation in conservation in Uganda, Kenya and other areas where we operate in Africa involves planting future forests
We at Real Africa Adventures are offering environmentally conscious airplane passengers a chance to plant a tree to offset the CO2-carbon dioxide damage from flying for holidays and tours to Africa-Uganda, Kenya Rwanda.
We now run a Real Africa Adventures' Future Forests scheme as part of our contribution to saving the environment. All our clients and visitors are encouraged to either directly plant a tree while on their trip with us or sponsor one to be planted on their behalf.
We have access to native forest projects with public access, and long-term contracts, which ensure the forests, will stay for a long time. We also work with the environment authorities to re-foretaste where trees have previously been cut down even in cities and towns.
Not all trees planted will survive, as there's natural die back and necessary thinning for proper forestry management.
We will ensure that all those who have dedicated trees will enjoy the woodland for many years to come and our clients are welcome to check on the progress of their trees.
We like to think that our clients wish to share in these efforts, so those who book a tour with us will be directly or indirectly contributing to conservation projects and charities that we support.
We give our clients and visitors personalised certificate, with their name and details of the woodland or forest site where their tree was planted. Our Future forest service scheme will ensure that planted trees are looked after.
Our support is not solely limited to animal welfare charities and environmental programs. We also contribute to a number of organisations whose principal focus is the social and educational welfare in of some of the poorer communities in Uganda and other areas where we work. These include orphanages, youth development agencies, HIV AIDS projects, schools, Medical care clinics and so on
By adopting this dynamic but sensitive approach, we hope not only to preserve the environment and offset aviation Carbon emissions, the integrity of local communities but also enhance the enjoyment and value of your vacation or holiday in East Africa.
We thank you;
Denis Kigongo(Director- RAA)
